I’m a UX Designer, Game Designer, & Community Organiser from the Philippines. I have experience designing end-to-end solutions for apps, games, & interactive projects.
Currently, I’m a UX Designer at Smart. Outside work, I also help build design communities at UX Philippines and Design Buddies.

Kate currently works as a UX designer at Smart, one of the largest telecommunications companies in the Philippines. Previously, she led community growth and engagement efforts for UXPH, and designed for games such as Hungry Hound and Starcrossed. I was also impressed with her ideas when she helped us ideate for Swarm during her time at UX+.
Kate is one of the most gung-ho volunteers I’ve had the pleasure of working with at UXPH.org. She’s enthusiastic to learn, detailed, organized, and isn’t afraid to spearhead efforts to get things done. Her initiative in UXPH with her team resulted in the formation of a discord community with a few hundred members in it, the kickoff of a formal partnership with one of the largest mentor communities in the world, and a few more other partnerships and events in the works. Kate’s proven to be a very solid team member!
Kate brings tenacity into the team with her efficient problem solving, coupled with her strong UI & prototyping skills. In our time in UX+, she has shown proficiency in shipping out hi-fi screens with multiple iterations within 2 days while always seeking feedback. Thankful to have been her team mate during challenging times!
